Frank did two tours. Came home, got to work, and then hit a rough patch — lost his job, went through a divorce, and found himself stretched thin in a small apartment in Westbrook, Maine. His 2003 F-150 was the one thing keeping him together. It got him to job interviews. To VA appointments. To his kids on weekends.
When the transmission started slipping on Route 25, he pulled over and sat there for a while. He couldn't afford a bad diagnosis. He couldn't afford to get robbed by a shop that saw him coming.
He found Up Front Auto Repair and called. Jon came out, test drove it, listened carefully, and gave Frank his honest assessment: the transmission fluid was burnt and the shift solenoid was sticking. Not a full rebuild. Not $3,000. A fluid flush and a solenoid replacement.
Total bill: under $400. Truck drove fine after that.
"He looked me in the eye and told me what was wrong," Frank said. "No runaround. No upsell. Just the facts. That's all I needed."
Jon doesn't know your story when you pull in. He doesn't know if you're having a good year or the worst year of your life. But he treats every customer the same: honestly, respectfully, and fairly. That's the foundation Up Front Auto Repair was built on.
